120v GS/Chili Pepper Wire Thermocouple

⚠️IMPORTANT: Please do not order any thermocouples before calling us at (863) 648-0585 to confirm that you are selecting the correct one for your kiln.

This thermocouple is for all 120v GS (infinite switch) kilns and all Chili Pepper kilns. It senses the temperature inside the kiln and sends the signal to the pyrometer. This part usually lasts many years. When it goes bad, the tip of the pyrometer will not rise. You can usually find a break in the thermocouple wire somewhere, normally at the tip. To change this part you will need a small Phillips head screwdriver, a 1/4" nut driver, and about 10 minutes. On the Chili Pepper, no screwdriver is needed.
