AF Ceram-a-Glass 2422 Kiln

Designed for the artist who has a passion for all the fired arts! The kiln has BOTH Ceramic and Glass firing modes. The Glass mode gives the uniform top blast of heat to evenly heat the glass on the shelf with some of the side coils working to help bring the kiln to temperature. The Ceramic mode is all side-firing which is great for the ceramics and glazes. The Ceramic mode will help glass casters hold at 1700°F without overheating the lid coils. This kiln comes standard with the Orton AF3C 3-button controller, however, you have the option to upgrade to the Orton AutoFire 12-key controller or the TAP controller. It is shown pictured here with the Orton AutoFire 12-key controller.
