Production & Warehouse Associate (Kiln Manufacturing)

Jen-Ken Kilns has been manufacturing kilns since 1951, and we are looking for a hardworking, hands-on employee to join our team. This job includes assembling kilns, loading and unloading trucks, and general warehouse work. Prior experience with tools, heavy equipment, factory, and/or warehouse work is required.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble kilns following instructions (attach parts, wire components, and add insulation).
• Follow ALL instructions without deviation, including verbal instructions, training, assembly guides, and blueprints.
• Inspect kilns to ensure they meet company quality standards.
• Test kilns to ensure proper heating and performance, making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety procedures.
• Move materials around the warehouse and help restock inventory as needed.
• Load and unload trucks with kilns and other materials.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with supervisors if issues arise.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support production and warehouse operations

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a warehouse, factory, or hands-on job is helpful.
• Mechanical skills – ability to use tools and work with machinery.
• Attention to detail – ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Problem-solving skills – ability to troubleshoot and fix minor issues.
• Physical strength – ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and bend as needed.
• Basic math skills – ability to measure and read instructions.
• Team player – ability to work well with others and independently.
• Safety-conscious – ability to follow safety procedures and handle materials properly.
• Education / Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or relevant certifications (preferred but not required if you have equivalent work experience).

💰 Starting Pay:

• Competitive pay starting at $17/hour, based on experience.
