The Bonnie Glo line of kilns is designed for artists who need to fire multiple times a day, especially busy teachers and studios. These lightweight, all-fiber kilns are perfect for those with daytime jobs, allowing you to start a firing after work, finish by bedtime, and let it cool overnight—pendants can even be fired in under an hour!
The Bonnie Glo Tall is the largest model in the Bonnie Glo line, weighing just 35 lbs. With its spacious 15” x 9” interior, it’s perfect for taller slumping projects and floral form molds.
Made from rigid fiber materials, Bonnie Glo kilns are highly efficient. Unlike traditional brick kilns that absorb heat, these kilns ensure that only the glass heats up. Without a brick body and clay shelves, the Bonnie Glo Tilt fires rapidly to fuse temperatures and cools quickly, enabling 2–3 firings per day. There’s no need for heavy shelves—simply apply kiln wash to the floor and fire directly on fiber shelf paper. For additional flexibility, an optional fiber shelf can sit directly on the kiln floor, though kiln wash and fiber shelf paper should be used each time. Includes a sturdy kiln stand for stable setup.
The Bonnie Glo kilns are named in honor of the late Bonnie Glotfelty, mother of Jen-Ken Kilns’ founders Mike and Randy. Bonnie’s decades-long dedication to the fired arts industry makes this kiln a fitting tribute to her legacy.
