The Orton AutoFire® Slide is the latest innovation in the AutoFire® controller family, offering all the advanced features of the AutoFire® 4000 with an intuitive touchscreen interface.
Designed for electric kilns, this variable PID temperature controller provides precise firing control with extensive programming and configuration options. It supports Type K, N, S, and R thermocouple inputs, allowing operation up to 3308°F.
The AutoFire® Slide can function as a single-zone or multi-zone controller, optimizing temperature uniformity for both small and large kilns.
IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE ORDERING
✔ Selecting Your Remote: Choose the correct amperage, voltage, and receptacle (NEMA number) from the dropdown above.
✔ If unsure, do not order. Instead, email a photo of your kiln to jenkenkilns@gmail.com or call us at (863) 648-0585 during business hours (Tuesday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM).
✔ Your kiln’s amperage must be lower than the controller’s amperage.
✔ Not compatible with auto turn-up devices—works only with manual kilns that require hand adjustments.
✔ We offer special order remotes to fit unique needs.
📌 Note: Remotes are made to order and subject to a 20% restocking fee if returned. Most Remotes use Mechanical Relays.
